The Marsh Creek Eagles are proud to provide the youth of our
area the opportunity to participate in Football and Cheer programs. We serve
the greater Chester County Pennsylvania area, including Downingtown, Exton, Coatesville,
West Chester, Chester Springs, Glenmoore, Elverson, Honey Brook, Phoenixville,
and Pottstown.
The Marsh Creek Eagles are members of the Pop Warner Little
Scholars Organization and compete in the Bux-Mont League. Both Marsh Creek and
Pop Warner are nonprofit organizations that provide youth football and cheer at
competitive and non competitive levels. All
Marsh Creek Eagle families and coaches are committed to the fun, camaraderie
and excitement that football can provide for the youth in our community.
The Pop Warner Little Scholars organization requires minimum
plays for each player to ensure that every child has a chance to participate
and learn the game of football first hand.
With every member of the team participating, players create great
experiences and memories for themselves. The Pop Warner system also place
children in divisions based on size and age to ensure that the children are
safe and playing against other children with similar stature.
All Marsh Creek Eagles coaches adhere to the following coaching
philosophy:
- Keep focused on our
main objective: to provide our children with a positive experience in football.
- Teach through positive
reinforcement.
- Encourage that through
hard work and the desire of not giving up, anything can be achieved.
- Motivate and challenge
all of the children on a team.
- Involve parents of the
children as much as possible.
- Teach football
fundamentals through Marsh Creek Eagles systems to enable a good foundation for
future years.
- Be competitive but
fair, be aggressive but respectful, be tough but compassionate and maintain
balance in your coaching.
-Win or lose, keep it
fun and help explain the lessons along the way.
